Last day at Lonely Beach

Wednesday February 12th

Today was our last day of being lazy blobs on Lonely Beach.

When we woke up this morning, there was a strong breeze blowing and the sea was quite lively.  The water was still beautifully warm and the waves made it a bit more exciting.  (Getting smacked in the ear with a wave can be good fun).
From our breakfast table

I’ve decided that if John is going to stay here and be the IT guy, I’m going for the leaf raker’s job.

I could manage this!
We thought we’d found an interesting lizard up a tree on our way back from dinner, but having stared at it for some time, we came to the conclusion that it was made of plaster.  It had my heart thumping for a while.  We've seen squillions of little geckos, but nothing like this monster!

We’ve got an early start tomorrow for our journey to Bangkok so we’re planning on an early night.  I hope the couple next door appreciate that the walls are thin!
