Monday February 10th
After yesterday’s hot ordeal getting to Koh Chang, today was a much-needed
day of rest. In the light of day, the
view from our room was even more amazing than it seemed yesterday. This will be a perfect place to rest and
relax and for John to recover from his tummy troubles.

| From our verandah |
We wandered over to the breakfast room and found a huge variety of options. It was so lovely to sit by the sea eating a leisurely breakfast with a day of nothing to do in front of us.

We spent the whole day swimming, dozing, reading, interspersed with lunch and dinner in the same lovely setting. The temperature of the sea is amazing. It’s like stepping into a warm salty bath.

| Not a bad spot for lunch |
There were a few memorable moments today – the monkeys who visited our neighbours who had left soft drinks out on their verandah, a dear old dog who dug himself a hole in the sand and then flopped into it for a nap and Russians in red speedos.

Monkey visitor. He came to see if we had any food for him but soon took off when there was nothing forthcoming |

| Not much fabric used here! |
I plan to have very little to say over the next couple of days as swimming,
dozing, reading and eating are the only things on the ‘to do’ list. John put a lot of effort into finding this place and I'll be forever grateful.
